I just stared at her, not even considering letting her go. Inside my mind there was an aggravated fight between the part of my brain telling me to go by the rules and dispense of her, and the part reminding me that, had it not been for her, I might as well be dead now. I owed my life to her. Then again, she was planning on blowing my head off. Should I be thankful? Keeping in mind that she now wanted to kill me, and could've let the snake do the job for her instead? No, this didn't justify her wanting to blow my head off.
She tried to pull away, but I tightened my grip on her wrist.
